Project Overview:
The goal of this project was to create a two-sided poster for a hypothetical typography conference titled, Type, Text, Talk. My concept was to design a poster that showed how fun typography is.
Creative Challenge:
For the poster to create excitement for the conference it needed to be entertaining and easy to understand at the same time. How might a poster be both entertaining and appealing?
Solution:
Type, Text, Talk is a daring and outstanding poster to mirror the excitement of the conference. A bold (you use the word “bold” too much) but pleasing color pallet of blue, orange, pink and purple are used to accentuate the typography. Type is used as a pattern to showcase the many uses of typography. A sanserif is used to create a clear reading experience against the bright colors.
